We are looking for a skilled full stack Full-Stack Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for server-side web application logic in JavaScript and/or variants of it. You will also be responsible for developing back-end components, connecting the application with the other (often third-party) web services, and supporting the front-end developers by integrating their work with the Node.js application.
Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.
Full-Stack Developer Responsibilities:
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
- Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
- Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Integration of data storage solutions {{may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.
- In-depth understanding of the systems development life cycle
- Proficiency in programming in more than one object-oriented programming language; JAVA, JavaScript, Python
- Experience with HTML and Frameworks such as; React.JS, Node.JS, Redux, and ExpressJS
- Experience with SOAP, REST web service development
- Experience with database knowledge in; SQL, MySQL, etc.
- Experience mentoring and/or leading other development staff.
Full-Stack Developer Requirements:
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
- Understanding accessibility and security compliance
- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
